Our experience with price and son's was perfect; they looked after our little boy perfectly we was able to see him whenever we wanted in there chapel which was lovely, and made you feel comfortable the support they gave to me and my partner was lovely which helped us right until the end every step. we was supported the service was excellent and a perfect way to send off our little boy, there's so much more i could say but all i will say is that the whole experience even though under upsetting circumstances was perfect would highly recommend for anyone who needs to arrange a funeral.

There was no other choice after my conversation with Jason, he lifted the weight from my shoulders and took away the anguish. The truly amazing Celebrant, Lili captured my partner’s personality perfectly as if she had known him herself. There were many touches along the way that were surprisingly wonderful. Jason has been amazing from the beginning to end of the process of my husbands final journey. He contacted me from the moment arrangements started and no pressure on time to complete stages that were emotional or difficult to allow the funeral and internment to be smooth but professional and courteous to myself and my family. No job was too much and he/the team were always on hand to help.Highly recommend Price and Son.

Everything was taken care of by Jason and his team, which took all the worry out of what is a very stressful time. My loved one was given the very best of care, nothing was to much trouble. Everything was relaxed and not rushed in any way from our first meeting, to the day of the funeral and Jason even phoned on the morning of the funeral to see if i was ok and any last minute details which was a lovely touch. From first to final contact with Price and Son, at a time when I was most in need of help and guidance after my husband died suddenly in hospital they were always available to get me through one of the hardest times of my life. I cannot praise them highly enough. There was always someone to speak to, someone to help me through the process required and to advise. Home visits from Jason were greatly appreciated. He was empathetic, sincere and compassionate throughout all our meetings. The funeral service was just as our family requested. Jason’s continued help after the cremation and eventual return of my husband’s ashes reinforced mine and our families opinion that Price and Son really are the best funeral directors.

Could not recommend Price and son highly enough. There are no spoken words to explain how truly wonderful Jason and his team are.We were blessed to have found you to take care of our loved one but you also showed true empathy, love, compassion, consideration, to all of us who met you during this time.Nothing any of us asked was too much trouble, they aimed to deliver and taylor any aspect you wished, to your personal needs.Our hearts are empty without him but knowing he had the best, and I mean the best, care possible during this final stage is priceless to us.Thank you all so so much, from the bottom of our hearts ♥️

I really don’t know how to start this review as any words I write will not show enough my gratitude to this business but I will try.When you lose someone you want to give them the best send off you possibly can and that is exactly what my father got when he passed away which was all down to Price and Son.From the very first contact I had with them all the way through to the funeral service and the weeks afterwards they were all fantastic and professional as you would expect from a family run business at such a sensitive time for my family. They acted on all my requests and were very patient and understanding with my bombardment of questions as they knew how important it was for us to have everything perfect.I know all the staff that work there are fantastic, professional and friendly, and given there are many things that have to be arranged, there is a whole team to thank. However we would like to say a big thank you to Patrick for his guidance through out this upsetting time for us. I knew we would be in good hands with him arranging and leading us on the day of the funeral.To anyone reading this review and considering using this fantastic business do not hesitate, you will be truly looked after.

I truly cannot thank the team enough at Price & Sons for the help and guidance given to us when arranging the funeral of my mother in law. It was truly fantastic to be talked through our options without being "sold" too. We was given a truly bespoke package and the staff facilitated our numerous visits to their Chapel to visit her.The service itself was beautiful, the team were incredibly professional yet warm and friendly (which is so rare these days) I highly recommend Price & Sons to anyone who requires funeral services ... I can not express enough how the team at Price and sons made me feel so comfortable and at ease. No one likes to have to plan a loved ones funeral, but they really went above and beyond! Even down to suggesting ideas with the order of service booklets, and adding personal touches. The two gentlemen came to collect my Grand Mother and they deserve 6 stars. They were absolutely fantastic, they basically let us dictate what we wanted. They then let us say our final good byes and then wrapped her up ready for heaven whilst placing a rose on top of her chest. Lovely gentlemen please use this business!

My families experience with Jason and the team has been absolutely outstanding. From start to finish Jason has looked after us all with so much respect and kindness. No request was too much, and he went that extra mile on multiple occasions to make things work for us. Plus the whole team played a huge part in making my mums day special. Jason Price and his team were outstanding in their support, care, communication and then delivery of a funeral that was the best it could be in the current circumstances. Nothing was too much trouble and Jason was easy and comfortable to be around when as a family we were feeling vulnerable and bereaved. I would recommend the services of Price and son to anyone dealing with the loss of a loved one. I cannot thank Jason and the team at Price and Son enough for how they cared for my mum and supported me through a difficult time to achieve the perfect farewell.Nothing was “packaged” - in fact every element was so flexible and tailored with a real understanding and sensitivity to requirements. With a very small number of mourners and respecting mum’s introverted nature we were able to have what was a very intimate and personal service which went way beyond my expectations. I am certain mum would have been very happy with it. Other special requests were welcomed and accommodated without the additional costs many others pass on.Lili, the celebrant, did an amazing job with the eulogy and service and the flowers by Julie were stunning.Cannot recommend highly enough

I am very happy to say that we had an incredible service from Jason and his team. From our first call they were extremely supportive, professional and respectful to my mum.Jason guided my family through this difficult and emotional time and from the first meeting we felt relaxed. Jason understood exactly what we wanted and needed, he didn’t try to sell us anything.Jason arranged for Lili to take the service, she was very professional and sympathetic and seemed to completely understand my mum. Her reading was lovely, and the words will be treasured.This is my first real experience with organising a funeral and Price and Sons, did everything to make this easy as possible. From the second I picked up the phone to enquire about arranging my fathers funeral, Jason and the team were fantastic. I barely had to ask any questions, they knew exactly what I needed to know and nothing was too much trouble. The respect, dignity & compassion they showed Dad whilst he was in their care from start to finish, and the calm they brought with their presence, did not go unnoticed. Dad had the best send off and that had a lot to do with them egging us on with our crazy ideas, even managing to get us a designer casket for dads ashes. I'd also recommend using their florist, she was great! If you find yourself looking for a local family run funeral directors I would highly recommend Price & Son 100%. I found the prices are the most reasonable in Grantham however this is not what made us go with them. What made us choose Price and Son was because they immediately helped us, without having to ask. Jason has even taken the time out of his day to say a few words at my dads ashes interment almost 2 months after the funeral. Can't thank him and the team enough.

Writing personally for my mothers funeral I found Jason very helpful in explaining the whole of service so we could make the right choices. Not all seem to do this without prompting!As a whole they company proved to very professional and respectful at all times, which was especially noted in their respectful preparation for the chapel of rest. They are gender respectful with a woman preparing females...very reassuring for our mothers passing.Well done Jason.

Very professional and so caring made what is very upsetting and difficult time so much easier to deal with although Jason had been dealing with myself, eldest daughter and her husband he had never met my younger daughter who is Down’s syndrome or my two granddaughters who had the difficult task of undertaking a reading at the service he was very caring putting them at ease.Several people have contacted me advising that watching on the web link they felt as if they were actually taking part in the service.I would like to take this opportunity to thank Jason and his team for being so professional and kind making what is a traumatic time a lot easier, from the first meeting in your beautiful calming building, with no hard selling to what I believe to be a very successful closure

Outstanding service, excellent care of my mum from the start, bringing her home to right up till the funeral day. Listened to me, and tailored my mums funeral accordingly. The care of my mum was exceptional taking care of everything and thinking of all the little things e.g lipstick, jewellery and clothing and laying her out in a respectful way to doing her hair. Jason and his team were very respectful, kind, caring and very patient with me and giving a warm welcome when I came down to see mum.I just want to say a big thank you Jason and your team I cant put into words how brilliant u all were only just thank you again. well no words can describe how amazing this company are! unfortunately i lost my husband at a young age and never did i ever think i would need to use this service but life can be cruel at times. i had heard a few things about price & son and decided this is who i was going to use to care for my husband. Jay and his team didnt let me down infact all they kept doing was showing such compassion and support to not only me but my family. never did i feel rushed into anything and i knew the choices i made were the correct ones. The kindest people you will ever come across he did a few gifts for myself and my daughter out of his own pocket which the kindness i will never ever forget. Richards service from start to finish was so beautiful and still now we have messages asking how we are! outstanding service by price and son who definitely go above and beyond for any family, its not about the quantity of services it’s definitely the quality and that is what you get the best quality. we entered price & sons as customers but have definitely left as friends. highly recommend this service to me its top class. thankyou again x

My mums death was an expected one so my father had already made a decision about who he wanted to care for her once she was gone but she passed away before he could make contact with Jason and his colleagues. The reason he chose Price and Son was because they were a family business. The night my mum passed at home my father contacted Price and Son and from the moment my mum was in their care we were shown constant compassion, empathy and support. My mum never wanted to discuss her last wishes or anything to do with her funeral yet Jason made the process less heartbreaking and less stressful. He guided us through the whole process because as a family we had never really faced that heartbreak let alone did we have any idea about arranging a funeral. Everything from arranging flowers to arranging a venue for her wake was all taken care of by them with our wishes included.My father felt relieved that the only people he needed to make arrangements with were Price and Son and they looked after every detail perfectly.Every step of the way we felt mum was cared for in a way as if she was a loved one of their own. Nothing was ever too much trouble and even when we wanted to go and visit mum at a weekend this was arrangedWe will always be thankful to Price and Son for the care, compassion and support shown to us as a family and for the lovely send off they arranged for our beautiful mum. We all feel what you do is more than a business to you, it felt personal.

I would highly recommend Price & Son. Jason was very caring and compassionate and at our first meeting with him we were made welcome and felt very comfortable to chat with him. He made us feel very relaxed at such a difficult time. He made us laugh and smile. My mum would have liked him!All the staff were very caring and considerate on the day of the funeral and the added touch of purple ribbons on the cars was amazing. Jason’s staff all wore purple ties as we had asked those attending the funeral to wear an item of purple. This touch was much appreciated and would have made my mum smile.Sadly my dad passed away in November last year and we used a well known Grantham undertaker and have to say the whole situation was made so much easier with Price and Son. A completely different experience.Thank you.

They sorted every little detail for us and the personal touches meant so much. It felt like one family looking after another at our time of need. My mum and auntie sadly lost their lives to cancer all in the space of a month. We were distraught and still are. We went to Jason and his team for their help and support to lay mum to rest. Jason had already come to see mum a few days before she passed away to discuss her wishes and he was just lovely!He then came back to the house to discuss the funeral and the final bits to plan and he made it so easy.He was always in contact with me and my family day or night if we had a question or needed to add anything. Nothing was too much trouble.When we went to see mum, it was on her birthday. They had bought me and my Nan a bunch of flowers which was the most loveliest thought. I was really taken back.They made her look beautiful and just how I remembered her to be before she was poorly.Joanne who I also had dealings with was amazing, so friendly and always knew our names. She gave a very personal touch. So thank you Joanne.On the day of the funeral Jason, Joanne and the rest of the team we’re brilliant. They made mum have a flawless send off.They did all as above for my auntie too so I can not recommend them enough.Once again thank you all for giving a funeral service a personal feel, and making us not feel like just another number.

From the initial point of contact Jason and his team were comforting, supportive and caring. As for a lot of people our need to arrange a funeral was not expected by us. Jason effectively held our hands through the whole journey. Lili (the celebrant) was gentle and intuitive. She managed to pull all the salient points out of our hour and a half discussion and wrote a beautiful eulogy which perfectly represented my late wife.As the last independent, family run and owned undertaker in Grantham they also go the extra mile in supporting local businesses and charities.Thank you for everything and making such a difficult time run smoother than I would have thought possible.

Price and Son went above and beyond every step of the way to make sure mum was well cared for and given the send off she would have wanted. We are a big family so many visits to the chapel of rest and phone calls to ask small questions but Jason and his team were happy to help with everything and nothing was too much bother. They used local suppliers and businesses which I know would have meant a lot to my mum. They selected a celebrant for the service who did an excellent job. As much as I hope we won't be needing a funeral director again anytime soon, if/when we do, they will be the one we call. They added the personal touches and support to help make the awful time slightly easier and we can't thank them enough.

Dear Jason and team I wish to express our heart-felt thanks for all your support and expertise as you guided us through the funeral process and organised all our wishes and plans. You took care of our mother Rebecca Rayner after she suddenly passed away and we only wish we found you sooner than what we did after the awful start by another local funeral directors of whom I unfortunately can’t name! From the first call I made you and your team have been amazing and the level and service has been exceptional. You have taken mum into your care with loving arms and made her last journey in life a loving and comfortable one. Jason and all the team at Price & Son are a credit to their trade. I have always thought that it takes a very special individual to undertake this kind of profession. It requires integrity, the upmost compassion and sensitivity, personality, a high level of communication skills, strength etc etc When our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away last year there was no doubt after hearing so many wonderful testimonials about Price & Son that they were the funeral directors that we wanted to have when my grandmother passed away. The staff at the care home said that from start to finish they treated grandma with love and dignity in what is I imagine for funeral directors one of the hardest parts of the job. Jason's communication and care with us throughout the process was second to none and the understanding shown in us wanting to ensure everything was perfect truly was a weight lifted off our shoulders during a very challenging period of time. On the day it was in many ways a real comfort to have Jason present and we knew that grandma would have the most fitting of send offs. A truly personal and tailored service provided by a funeral directors who have a very clear ethos that it is love and family that are the very heart of what they do and in times of grief that is what really matters.
