We understand that arranging a funeral can seem overwhelming but our supportive and compassionate team are here to help you in every way and ensure you understand all the details of what will happen on the day. Whether you opt for cremation or burial we will take every step to ensure the funeral is carefully planned to meet all your specific needs.
If you wish to leave from a residential address, we will greet you there in your selected vehicle or vehicles. Upon arrival at your chosen place of worship we will enter first to ensure everything is in place. You may wish to be seated first or follow behind the coffin. Once the service is finished the coffin will be placed in the hearse for travel to the cemetery. We will lead the way to the plot as you follow behind. You may also wish to scatter holy water, earth or a single stemmed flower during the committal.
We always advise people to wear suitable footwear during inclement weather as the ground can be slippery. We will then invite you to look at the flowers and once you have left the cemetery the floral tributes can be placed onto the coffin as it is lowered or placed on the grave, depending on your preference.
Following the committal service, our vehicles will escort you back to your residential address or chosen reception venue.
If you are leaving from a residential address, we will greet you there in your selected vehicle or vehicles. We will then transport you to the crematorium or place of worship for the service. You may wish to be seated first or follow behind the coffin. At the end of the service the coffin will be loaded onto the hearse for travel to the crematorium and placed onto the coffin rest.
Once the service has concluded, you may wish to visit the Garden of Remembrance and greet the mourners in attendance. Typically, the family floral tributes are placed on top of the coffin until the chapel is empty and collected and brought out by ourselves. However, the flowers can be left with the coffin for the cremation if that is your preference.
Following the committal service at the crematorium, we will escort you back to your residential address or chosen reception venue.
